A Helping Hand

Helped someone with router problem today... 39 minutes of phone bills haha, but well, time well spent. It's fulfilling to just receive a simple thank you from the other party when you don't expect anything in return when you decided to help =)

Then one question comes to mind, won't the world be a happier place if everyone help each other out unconditionally? I don't look down at people who doesn't help an old lady cross the road, but I disgust those who hypocritically help other people just to show how "kind" they are. So many years of individualism teaching certainly teaches us something, be it good or bad. The bottom line is: help people out of your own kindness, if not I'd rather you not help at all.
